You can also check memoryexpress, they have a selection of (barebones) 
laptops, take a Knoppix with you to test them out. Also i checked with 
bestbuy (deerfoot) and they will let you boot the laptops on show with your 
Knoppix, just explain it, and the techs at GeekSquad will unlock it for you 
until you test them. 
Those are 2 places i know would be helpful regarding Linux, but will not ship 
a laptop with Linux on it.

I am sure there are others too.
