I bought two Dell 1501s last Christmas prices at 499 each. For that, we got a 80G HDD, a mobile Athlon, 512M of RAM and the usual bells and whistles. My money says that they'll be back on sale in another month, likely in an upgraded version. For the extra $100, why even bother with a used one? This gives a year of warranty, and current hardware.
