Hi Mark,

I think that is the sort of thing I am looking for.  I will have to test 
  the robogeo at home just to see what it looks like & the article 
(brief look) appears to point me in the rigth direction.  It at least 
lets me know I am looking for the term geo-positioning and that google 
earth is likely the lookup web site I am looking to use.  But I am 
wondering if I could create the maps in Google Maps and accomplish the 
same thing?  Or is Google Earth a better solution...need to do some more 
reasearch.

So.. any suggest a good exif editor or will Gimp do that?  i went 
through all teh features I could see but nothing jumped out at me.
