You only need one adapter if you use an extension cord, but make sure the wire 
is rated for 110/240 otherwise you could cause an electrical fire.  However do 
not take a power bar like I did, the good ones are surge protected and they 
will think 240 is a surge.  Puff of blue smoke is what you will get.

Check the input voltage on the adapter (canadian) you already have.  If
it's anything like a normal laptop adapter it'll take 110- 240 VAC, which
means it will work in any Country in Europe -- most are 240 V I think.

You can buy adapter kits for the plug itself at most drug stores.  I have
found them at Shoppers (here) Carrefour (France) and Boots (England) as I
seem to loose the damn things regularly.  My point is they are not hard to
find.
