That is exactly what I thought we got (apart from the you vs Dafydd tennis match of "what have you done"). > narrow-mindedness and fanaticism (i.e my d*** is bigger than yours). My > bad, I should have known. > I guess time will tell. > I did not mean to give that impression. In fact if anything I believe that I said I felt privileged to have such high quality software at my disposal given how little I have actually contributed. I also like dissenting views because they force me to analyze and refine my own views. Even if my views do not change, I usually have a better understanding of my own beliefs. It is also OK if we still disagree at the end. This is why I still talk to Jesse, I may not agree with him on a lot of things, but I do usually learn something. Having said that, these kind of discussions do require that one develop a thick skin. Right wrong or otherwise, it simply is what it is. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkpWeZ8ACgkQwRXgH3rKGfOXggCcDXxcKyqnHiFguIH9UvJGPXSV bxwAn1J860LdZUKf7/Wj5+H+xjN1dVet =Fuw4 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
