I have not seen a network card years that did not work out of the box with Debian, Ubuntu, or Red Hat/Cent OS. I left slackware years ago, I am sure it is a fine distro, I just prefer other ones. > GNU/Linux; then see how easy and/or intuitive would be to "get > everything to work" in both OS. The only problems I have had were about 1 printer in 4. All of them needed disks and drivers to work in windows, in Linux the ones that worked just worked. Tough to call a winner here. > > Try this and get back to me (or the general list) I am not sure what you are actually looking for? -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkpZEu8ACgkQwRXgH3rKGfMI+QCfZ0fW335CE9VtcMC0EkmTiecd LbwAoI704mc70tY6b+YjoU+Hhq/nKRwC =R+XJ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
