Since no-one else answered you...

It's really impossible to tell if (random XYZ) Win32 application will work
on Linux.

There is pretty good support for the Win32 codecs (including WMF), so
there is a good chance that some of the media will be playable. However if
the producers of this CD have wrapped every thing up in DRM or custom apps
you may be SOL.

If the CD isn't too expensive, I would say give it a go. If you can come
up with a listing of the files on the CD we might be able to help more.
