Signature Question

I have a "simple " question.   The signatures on the MDS   section AA9--I just started at a new facility and the other disciplnes will not sign the MDS if they were not at work that day.   EXAMPLE   ARD 11/1  they have 3 days to put it in the computer  (due by 11/3) print date 11/4   now, what date should they sign?  If they enter it into the computer shouldnt they sign it regardless if they were there on the print date? I've been doing this for 7 years and I know I'm not going crazy...Maybe I am ......   Thanks
