Can you believe my DON asked me what needed to be done when I was out this week and I told her my notes needed to be written in the chart. She said OK but didn't know who would be doing them when I was out. I can top this one. I was out for over a month d/t a car accident and when I came back, still had several weeks worth of MDS's due that no one else got too (there are three other NAC's in the facility). I was expected to get them all done, and sign them as if I was there! I don't think so. I did the best I could, but took them to the DON to sign. She was not happy to sign but I refused. Why do these people not get it???
