Has any one used the Foxx Azrin training program? If so has it ever been
questioned by your state surveyors. I realize most of you are working with
the geriatric population but our facility is unique in that we work with
school age children with disabilities. I am concerned about using this
program because it all occurs in the bathroom for eight hours daily,
including eating in the bathroom, sitting in the bathroom and being toileted
every half hour. I quess that this is a dignity issue. Would be interested
in hearing your views, experience with this program. This program was very
popular in the 70s.
One other question, do you do physical/chemical restraint assessments when
some one is on a medication such as Prozac, etc?
Thanks.
