Readmission/Return Assessment is used ONLY when a Med A is continuing, i,e....
the resident was DISCHARGED briefly and returned to facility in the same benefit
period. A new 5 day assessment is used when the resident is starting a new Med A
stay... i.e..... resident was issued a denial letter due to no longer requiring
skilled services, but 20 days later returns to Med A because they are within
their 30day wuindow.
