Thank you....but   Is there a problem with doing a 0/1 vs. 0/5 ?   History, the software package we had did not allow for the readmission assessment so in place of the that the facility was completing 0/1 (in other words) another 5 day assessment.  This was to recapture the continuance of MC...and it kept everything clean until the software company did their annual updates. To be honest with you, I still am not sure if the software will complete 0/5 Readmission/Return it had not up to the time I left in Sept.  However, the good news is that there was an update....so perhaps this has been fixed and for future assessments this will be a mute point.   But my question still remains....if the software has not been updated do you see any regulations that will cause facility heartburn over the completion of another 0/1?   The Nose ----- Original Message ----- From: Debbie Settle To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, December 03, 2003 6:42 AM Subject: RE: Quick question for the group-return assessment A Readmission/Return Assessment is used ONLY when a Med A is continuing, i,e.... the resident was DISCHARGED briefly and returned to facility in the same benefit period.
