I think that this is my big question.  Why did the resident go by the
private gurney and not by ambulance?  If she was on bedrest, then she
likely should have by ambulance due to the strict bedrest.

I would think that if the patient was on strict bedrest that the
ambulance
would be considered medically necessary therefore covered by Med A.  But
those are just my thoughts.
