I would check with the labor board.  As I understand it employers do not have to offer vacation time or pay but if they do and you have followed their policy and have accrued it they must pay what you earned - they can revoke vacation time across the board but they cannot refuse to pay what you accrued if they were offering it.  It would not hurt to make a phone call.

I have been told by the don that in the state of Tenn. vacation is considered a gift by the emplyer and there are no laws prohibiting him from doing what ever he chooses. Makes for a sorry person though to take from poor people. Did I mention he just put in new bathrooms and replacement windows. I am wondering if vacation time payed for that.
