All RAC's are different, this is what I do. I am assuming you have already completed an admission assessment? Can't do a sig change if you haven't done an admission assessment. If you have, do separate assessments, a 5 day(O/5, one grace day) and a sig change (3/0) using the same ARD. I am not clear on discharge from MCR bed to private pay bed? You are anticipating this resident will return MCR. Start PPS all over again for payment only. You have new dx for coverage.
