Mds scheduling

At my last facility we always did the MDS the day after the ARD Raps everything.  The new facility has a different policy and I am scared I will miss closing something.  For Admission/Annual/Sig Change ARD, then 2 days for data entry then print draft for review next day, then close next day then 1 day to do raps, then complete/update MDS and scedule care conference following Wed then close MDS.  How am I supposed to remember to go back and close everything and which MDS is at which part?  It just seems to drag it out forever and like I said I am scared I will miss completing something.  ANy suggestions?
