I've set up
an excel spreadsheet with all of the resident's and their assessment dates by
the day we do our care plan meeting, which is every Thurs. The ARD was the
previous Sun., but since the DMAS audit it is now every Tues. ONce a week,
either on Fri. or Mon. I send the IDT a list of those scheduled for MDS for the
coming week. This is in a word doc table and basically all I do is copy my block
of residents from excell and paste it into word. I also keep a copy of this list
in 3 ring binder and make notes as to the progression of each MDS on that list
so I always (hopefullly) know where I am with each.
I sent samples of the spreadsheets and the I
think the word doc to the list once before. I can do it again if anyone wants.
Hope this helps.
