If you can no longer see the wound bed on
this ulcer, ("scabbed") you would code a IV, if it is indeed a
pressure ulcer and not a vascular/arterial issue. I have
never heard of a wound "scabbing over" using Duoderm. The ankle is not
considered part of the foot, so you would not code M6c. However, code in M
application of dressings.

MDS.Duoderm was ordered.The area scabbed over during the look back
period.
How would you code in section M? I would code in M1 stade
2,M2 pressure ulcer,M6c open lesions of the foot,M6f applications of
dressings.Is that correct?
