I work at a 50 bed hospital based SNF.  11 of the 50 beds are Med A and the rest medicaid/private pay.  I do all of the MDS's, care plans, schedule of careplan meetings, and on several different committees.  I have no helper.  The biggest problem I have is finding the time to print and file MDS's, careplans and document on careplan meetings and discharged resident's.  I have several stacks at any given time of completed MDS's, careplans and discharged charts that need to be filed or taken to medical records.  We usually have a full house.  There is anywhere from 2 to 20 admission's/discharges a week.  The resident I dislike is the Med A resident that is admitted and then discharge then next day or two.  All the work for the 5 day, just turn around an do it again in a day or two.
