Yes it helps.  The reason I am asking is that we do not get an order from the doc. to admit tp Med A when we pull them up from the non Med A bed and I feel we should.  I think that if/when FI reviews, that they will want to see physician input in the determination that this person qualifies for Med A.  Currently the only thing that we do is the nurse writes that they have been moved to room/bed whatever. ----- Original Message ----- From: Debbie Settle To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, March 22, 2004 11:29 AM Subject: RE: adl/med a As far as coding her transfers..... However, we do get an order to D/C from Med A .... or to Admit to Med A, if they are being picked up after they are  already a resident. WE do not get order to admit to Med A if they are being admitted from the hospital.
