Labeling eyeglasses

Anyone have any ideas r/t labeling eyeglasses.  We have been trying the clear straw with name in permanent marker slipped on over the bow but the name rubs off.  Unfortunately we have a lot of residents who take them off and leave them anywhere and then we can’t identify whose they are—and neither can they!!!! Any suggestions appreciated Faye J.
