The careplan must be
completed within 7 days of the RAPS, but no later than 21st day of
admission. As far as when the group meeting needs to be done, I don't think
that there ia a regulation regarding any particular time frame. We have
careplan meetings on Tuesdays. I go over all the careplans that have been done
from the previous Tuesday through the Monday preceeding the CP meeting. My
careplan DATE (the day I actually do the CP) is not always the same date as
the actual meeting date. Everyone signs the careplan with the Meeting date. I
have used this same system in several different facilities over many years and
have never had a problem.
