Ok..... I am confused.   I've always been under the assumption that, you have the assessment period.  You have 7 days after the ARD to sign the mds as complete, then you have 7 days from that date to have the careplan.  Am I missing something?    No more than 92 days from careplan to careplan, or is this the "writing" of the careplan and not the actual "meeting" of the careplan????   How can you schedule a careplan meeting, then change it to the following week?  Isn't that the VB4 date?  Wouldn't it be late then?  I must be missing something.

I've never seen a rule for that but we care conference weekly on Fridays.  We almost always meet with the families of the residents who's ARD date's were that week.  I postpone the conference if we have too many assessments to fit all the conferences in one day.  Then I move the conference to the next week.  The only other reason I would postpone is if the family requests to meet on another date due to a scheduling conflict on their part.  Then I will sometimes move the conference back a week.
