You are correct. However, I am wondering why you are using the senile dementia with delirium code. Are you assessing, identifying and treating the cause of the delirium? This is a treatable condition. Reference--see the RAP for Delirium.

reviewed the 2004 ICD-9 code manual and I do not find this code 290.30. There is a code 290.3, but it does not include a 5th digit. Am I missing something? Thanks for the explanation.
