it's so nice to be able to come to this board and communicate with people who don't think i'm crazy. my mom takes hydrea (sp?) and her skin is very very thin. she has frequent nosebleeds, cracks all over her hands, and a cut on her leg took forever to heal because just putting medicine on it would open it back up. she swears to me that her doctor is terrific but i do wonder why it took him months before he accepted it could be from the hydrea. i'm just thankful it's not worse. she's careful and mainly just deals with the cracked skin on her hands. best wishes to all, sarah
