Ann, Welcome to the club none of chose. First thing, please be assured that things will be alright. The first month was a complete rollar coaster for me with waves of emotions coming and going. Take your time to learn and understand about the disease and treatment options. Knowledge is power and the more you have the better you will feel. My onc does the bmb's at his office and he gives me a shot of demerol and finigrin (sp). The worst is the anticipation of the procedure and then afterwards waiting for the results of the test.
