[CML] a change for the worse ???

sorry about that lol lost my place any way,It turns out after only 8 months on the gleevec from 4-600 its just not working and i have a lil liver damage to clean up :) My doc is gonna put me on a trial .He says it hasnt been gov. approved yet but as soon as it is he wants me on it. Anyone been in one ? or in one now ? Im scared but id do anything at this point to feel better and extend my time.When this all started back in Dec.2004 My doc said 15 years maybe more till the transplant. That would put me at 45 y/o . dont think it sounds too good ? Well now im down to 2-5 due to some kind of " gaucher " type cells in my marrow . Anyone else have this ??? I truley interested in some posative news from anyone who knows anything about this stuff. Im a lil depressed because at this point 2-5 years I will have to leave my babies at the ages of 17, 12 and 9. Sorry for being so depressive. I know were all struggeling right now. I guesss I just decided to type at the wrong time. I love you guyzz and i thank you for not only putting up with my butt but being here to complain to lol.
