Karen thats wonderful !!! Im so glad to hear things are going well :) gives me much hope. He is trying to get me in to a trial but he hasnt said what one the only thing I know is that it hasnt been federally approved for him yet. I left a message for them to call me and let me know which trial so i can read up on it. I think the gleevec just gave up lol. I had a good reponse the first month. I went from 96 % on my FISH to 36 % ( 3 months ) then by my third FISH all my counts went haywire and my FISH was back up to 45 %( 6 months ). Unfrotunatly I have never had a remission but I look forward to one in the clinical trial ;) * wink.

respond to gleevec or for those intolerable. I would definitely talk
to your doctor and try and get in a trial asap. I can't tell from
your email if your doctor is or isn't trying to get you in the trial,
but I would really push to see if you qualify and can get in asap. It
may be months (or years) before the drug is FDA approved, so why wait
til then if gleevec is not working. From my own personal experience,
BMS is an awesome drug. Gleevec worked for me for about a year and a
half (I even reached PCR-u), but then I relapsed (big time - back to
100% ph+). I have been on BMS for 4 months and have absolutely no
side effects and feel great. My 3 month BMB showed that I am at CCR
and PCR went from 7.42% to .12%.

Im a lil depressed because at this point 2-5 years I will have to
leave my babies at the ages of 17, 12 and 9. Sorry for being so
depressive. I know were all struggeling right now. I guesss I just
