Penny, I would suggest that now would be a good time to try to get him to a CML specialist at one of the major CML centers such as M.D. Anderson. A transplant might be an option he may have to consider but some of the new drug trials are showing very good results. I posted last night that the new BMS drug is showing about a 90% success rate for patients who did not get good results on Gleevec. Increasing Gleevec might be an option as well.
