Hi, my hematolog/onc has offered to give me a sedative like they give you when you go in for a colonoscopy.  It made me feel a lot more secure about her sensitivity about the procedure.  Ask about if your dr. is willing to do that for your son.  Why suffer needless pain?  Sue T.

I had mine done in my oncs office and it was uncomfortable but not painful.
The pain came later as a lump came up on the site of the Biopsy and I had been put in the  hospital and had to stay lying down all the time.  They had put a big bandage on the site and finally I figured out that was causing a lot of the pain and took it off.
