I experience this same situation,,as I am up at 2 am writing this, But unlike you, I have had this all over achey pain that gets worse at night or sometimes just wham hits up at night, I have been on gleevec since 2004. I finally gave in and take a low dose pain med twice a day,,,and as long as I stay regular on it,,Im golden. Its when I forget to take it,,I end up with this weird pain. Your not alone. This med causes some interesting side effects but as long as its working for us,,,
