Thanks to all who responded. I think this has been a great discussion
and some ideas worth looking in to, definitely.

Holly, "nurse practitioner" told me that adding a lot of extra
calcium will not help as it just goes right on out of the
body. I had heard that before from someone. Anyway......we discussed
the proper dosage for someone like me
who has had a total hysterectomy and is not on any replacement
hormones now. I believe it was 1200 to 1500 mgs.
a day.......I found a "Nature Made" brand of liquid gel filled
capsules at 1200 each and I decided that would be
great as I would only have to take one a day and with the other
vitamins and supplements, I am sure the calcium from
them will add up to enough. I liked the fact that the liquid gel
filled calcium will absorb faster, too. And, I
already added four garlic oil supplements......I use to take that a
long time ago, don't know why I quit. Anyway,
between it, the fish oil, & the flaxseed oil.......I should be oozing
oil through the pores, huh? (hehehe)

I have been taking the relaxer before bed and noticed I am not have
the night time leg cramps.....thankfully!
Will see if it keeps up.

Hey, Patrick, I, too, enjoyed the chocolate milk right after I was
diagnosed and put on Gleevec. My husband was
always having to stop at the Convience Store so I could get my "fix"
before going home. I finally realized
how many added pounds it was packing on and gave it up. (smile)

Thanks again, everyone. You all are such a blessing to me.

Suzieq
