HI.. I have been on all three meds , sprycel for the past four months, now adjusted to it...I am on 50 mgs a day....it' s a powerful drug ..over 300X more potent than Gleevbec but with a much shorter half life..the side effects I have had, upon initial usage severe headaches....so I quickly premedicated 30 miutes before taking sprycel with a serious pain med, tramadol...I had to take some imitrex sometimes....and I never had headaches before..the good news..within the first six weeks the headaches resolved themselves....and slowly I weened off the pre medication... now symptoms are moderate fatigue, constipation, some muscle pain throughout my body...light to moderate grade..worse at the end of the day, sinus, vision stuff sometimes.......for me, side effects not nearly as bad as Gleevec...I know some sprycel users that have almost no side effects... the major thing to watch out for...shortness of breath associated with swelling around lungs or heart..plural effusion or pulmonary hypertension..less likely on lower doses....standard dose is 100 a day now, but I know people on 20 daily, 20 twice daily, 50 like me, 70 a day....and doing really well..all in remission...I wish you all the best...good luck..
