Thank you, Virginia:

I, too, have had the eye bleeds pop up at times and then go for long
periods with out. The last time was about a year ago and my dr. (Onc./
Hem.) wanted me to see my eye doctor as this one was very bad. The
eye doctor did not seem too concerned after I showed him the list of
side effects with this potential eye problem circled....he put it in
my record. :) Once that one cleared up, I was sitting in the
recliner watching t.v. one afternoon and felt something like you
mentioned (pin prick) in the eye, got up and went and looked in the
bathroom mirror, & it was there again and really bad. I got to where
I wear some light gray shades when I go out to church or stores so I
don't scare everybody......I was scheduled to see my dr. for blood
work and tests the next week and she got to see what it looked like up
close and personal. Told me that if it did not clear up in a few
days, to call and she would schedule me with an ophthalmologist as
there may be some small blood vessels that need cauterized. It went
away just like all the rest of the times........my husband and son
both have this to happen sometimes & my eye doctor told me that
normally it is caused by stress, heavy lifting, or high blood
pressure. None of those related to me (smile).
