Hi Kelly,

Let me explain about The Philadelphia Chromosome. I know that it may be
complicated for you to understand but here is a site that can explain it.

http://www.medterms.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=4870

The new drugs inhibit the transfer of genetic materials between two
specific Cromosomes and that is what the Philadelphia Chromosome is.

PCR stands for polymerase chain reaction it is a very sensitive test that
can tell what is going on with CML

When someone is PCRU that means that there can not be detected any CML in
your cells.

Kelly, don't you worry. You just hang in there and you must remember
without any of these new drugs, well you know what I mean.

You must consider yourself very lucky (if that is the right word to use)
None of these drugs were available for me when i had to deal with that bone
marrow transplant.

You just go out there and enjoy your life

18's

Marty
