Hi all, yes I went to the doctor and took a round of amoxcillin. My doctor
did chest xray, blood test and heart scan; all negative. My platelets were
normal but up to 300; I like to see them in the 250 range; also my WBC
were up to 9; like to see them about 5. I have had both Tasigna and Gleevec
quit working for me and my platelets and WBC go up in just a few days. No
Fun!
Seeing my onc soon; will see what he says.
Thanks a lot,
Jeanie<3

Since I have had CML I have got cluster headaches. They are bad. But
since starting sprycel a few months ago they have slowed down. But a smell a
sound can set it off. They only way I can get rid of them is going to the
hospital and they give me a shot and oxygen. But if I puke it helps it too.

drug.. After 4 years on the med for you, I am wondering if you have a sinus
infection which can cause bad headache that will not go away without
medication..antibiotics or something to addess it if it is an
infection...also,
thinking about other allergens as well

would be curious if sprycel would do that after four years without that as
a side effect for you.. good luck and keedp us posted. Beth

is
a disease of both the body and mind. When I had Leukemia I was very
depressed, who wouldn't be? I had a bone marrow transplant more then 23 years
ago
and now I have kidney failure and am on dialysis. Am I depressed now?
Absolutely not. I often ask myself why am I not depressed going through
dialysis. They stick two large needles into my arm, and it hurts like hell,
and I
have to sit there for four hours but it doesn't depress me.

are not necessarily your problem. The whole thing is to make your mind work
in your favor. You just need to really try focusing on some of the good
things in your life.

There you are with all of these problems on your shoulders weighing on you and
bringing you down. Now let's say you start putting some of the good things
in your life (if we look hard enough we can find some of these good
things) Start putting these good things on the opposite side and what happens
then?
