It's been fourteen years for me after a long, long year on PegIntron. I started STI571 on February 1st of 2000 and was up and about by mid- August. With all the usual, difficult side-effects, most of which became attenuated over time except for periorbital edema, leg cramps and weight gain around my middle. Just great to be here all this time after being told that I was a goner. Courage to all of us.
