Hi Richard, Just because it didn't work (Procrit/Epogen) for you then that doesn't mean it won't work for you now. That should be discussed with your doctor. There are a lot of contributing factors so you can't really be sure until you have that discussion with your doctor. Possibly you weren't given the proper start up dose? Who knows?
Remember, that it may take a week or more for it to start working. If it does it sure beats a transfusion.
