For those who have not yet unpacked the new release and did hear me reveal the details yet, the key points of what we did for 6.4: * Full replacement of CMS "indoor plumbing" * Functionally similar to the latest Runtime Library from Marist * One single version of CMS Pipelines in z/VM 6.4 - used by all z/VM components and virtual machines - upwardly compatible with the pipes in z/VM 6.3 - more than twice the function available in z/VM 6.3 - no reason for customers to want something else * Supported and serviced through normal z/VM processes * A single publication with up-to-date online help files We could not have done this without the help and patience of The Piper. It has been a true pleasure to work with John to fix the plumbing. It's good that he continues to follow the mailing list and help us discover more of the hidden gems in CMS Pipelines.
