No, I wasn't asking for a profile, but if you have time, that would be
beneficial to see where the gain comes from.  No rush, of course.
After all, Gerd's PCL has been around for many months now. :-)

Sorry, I meant historically the Debian version of cmucl differed quite
a bit because it had some extra patches applied, like the high-safety
(?) stuff and maybe others.

But current cmucl has had a lot of the safety stuff already, and might
even be in 18e.  I can't remember.  So I was under the impression that
Debian cmucl didn't really differ much from 18e.  But I'm not a Debian
cmucl user.

But you should probably ask your friendly Debian maintainer to try to
update to 19a soon.
