Dennis, Your setup sounds smart and simple. Do the sheets include a plastic doughnut near the shackle to keep it from getting pulled thru the pole jaws? Twings to pull the guy to the widest beam, maybe?

They have a machine that does it. You'll need fairly accurate measurement so the sheet wraps on the winch in the correct spot. I really like the sheets. The 1/4 inch Dyneema is very strong and light.
