John and any 33-II folks out there; I was told once that the 33-II is a derivative of the 34; if so, would the setting and trim you outline for the 34 transfer to the 33-II? I'm guessing that even if they are not linked from the design standpoint, the rigs must be reasonably similar for trimming purposes? Thanks

All you have to do is lay on the deck and sight up the mast ith no babystay and watch the mast pump away which wrecks havoc on the ainsail trim / shape. We play the babystay in concert with main unningham, outhaul and backstay tension to account for wind speed and sea tate. It really settles the mast and mainsail shape and provides better ontrol.
