Old shade tree mechanic's trick for AT4's. Used to do it annually when I had
AT4's. With the motor at fast idle or better, pour a small stream of automatic
transmission fluid in the carb. It will clean the valves and topworks of the
engine.
Caution: do it when the marina is deserted or someone will think your boat is
on fire and call the fire department. Makes a bit of smoke.
