Right. My project for today, actually, is to swap my chain rode end for
end. After only three years of hard use (I can't count the last 10
months as I've been a Mexico marina rat) the galvanizing is totally gone
in the lower 100 feet. Sheesh, I went to drop the hook last month and a
full cup of rust fell off around the windlass. Something of a concern
going into Hurricane season.
I made an anchor grate out of polyethylene.
