Enjoy your sail. We returned last Monday from 8 days in the BVI's What a
treat that was. We did have 42 knots and 7 to 8 foot seas 2 out of the 8
days. Great training exercise for my wife and I.I learned that the a anchor
set 7 to 1 will hold in a gale. I just have to trust but verify. My rental
boat did well. the "Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 36i" was a nice boat but seamed
thin compared to the C&C30 MK1.
My C&C seams to point better as well. Plenty of room and
the shiftier works better on the Jeanneau.
However the Jenny was only 2 years old. My C&C30 is 33 years old this
year.
My brother-in Law lives in Washington. He tells its beautiful up there
I hope to sail there one day. Have fun and be safe.
