As I understand it C&C has had few failures that weren't caused by damage (collisions) or bad POs. The only wet sections of my boat are the rudder. Had it rebuilt. Welds looked immaculate. 4 years later it is wet again. Core of my rudder is made of medium density foam not balsa.
