Actually, I find that turning downwind is much easier - no flogging sail, less force on the sheet and you might even shadow your jib with the main. Easy. Other than that I fully agree with Dennis. A big point: never use a winch to furl the sail. Marek C270 “Legato” Ottawa, ON
