People on this list should be complimented that so many former C&C owners continue to lurk here.
I for one think it's the one of best sources of reliable information on the Internet for maintaining and upgrading sailboats. Dennis, Fred, Wally and many others have given me quite an education over the 16 years I've been reading their posts. Other email sailing lists tend to be plagued by a scarcity of real experts, flamers, know nothings who believe they know it all, big personalities who argue at the drop of a hat and more. This list somehow tends to avoid all of that. Besides, who knows, maybe someday we'll come back to the C&C fold. :) I know that if I could get some lingering health issues under control, I might be tempted by the right Landfall or a centerboard C&C for more extended cruising.
