And the good news was the virus was found to have survived 17 days on surfaces
on one of the cruise ships that had the issue (not sure which one), but instead
of living for hours, they are now saying it lives for days! YIKES.

That is not the only absurd aspect of the response to Covid 19. You can’t
access your boat nor can I go into my University office, which in both cases
there is no contact with other people. But I can go to the hardware store or
grocery store where you can’t help but encounter other people. That is the
situation in CT, anyway. Not logical or based on any science. Dave

How the hell is THAT going to work? My marina has about 20 live-aboards. I
don’t even see the point, when I am on the boat I am remotely close to any

That may be a state instruction. Talbot County is saying the same thing.

All the marinas in Kent County Maryland (Rock Hall, Tolchester, Worton Creek,
etc.) are closed for boat owners. The county instruction allow them to staff
with their own people if the maintain “social distancing”. So in at least some
cases you can’t work on your own boat but can pay them to do work.

USVI is closed to visitors too.
