Dave, So glad to read your email. I sailed aboard Calypso a while back, maybe 2010, when my daughter was stationed in Seattle on Coast Guard cutter, Mellon. It was very light wind, but Martin was very gracious and gave me a three day window to join him for a sail there and during that trip I met with Craig Montague in Port Townsend and went aboard a 34plus in Bellingham Bay but the owner was too busy working. I have met some very special friends through the list and it is a wonderful way to meet like minded people.
Through Stu's list, I recently got invited to crew aboard a boat sailing from Bermuda to Annapolis and met three other C&Cers that made the trip a great time. I am not bragging. I simply want to encourage other C&Cers to contact other listers when in their locales and try and get together. My few experiences were very positive and those times are unforgettable, I write this while watching another passion, flying. I'm watching YouTube videos of OshKosh. Hope to attend next year.
